Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
I see the un-dotted “i’s
And un-crossed “t”s
Of the world for eleven minutes.
And then I slip into unconsciousness.
See with the eye of my mind,
The world in a frozen state.
I struggle to see as much light
In the day
As I of dream of
in the night.
But time is parted unevenly.
And it makes the world part in two.
What I see and hear,
Aren’t what I was shown or said.
And it makes the world seem new each day.
I can’t find the similarities that I never saw
Or repeat the message of life if I once heard it.
What I search for is new,
But I need it to find the old.
