seeing into the future
is not what it seems
maybe the visions dormant
or hard to be seen
maybe it's bright
and a pleasant soothing
sight to behold
but whatever it may be
a future's scary
and bold
so we must carry on
our troublesome ways
and try not to find the truth
that's how it should stay

The author's comments:
i personally wrote this short free verse though it has lyrical elements to it ( though i still consider it free verse, though i may be mistaken)
to inspire people to live their lives as of now, not tomorrow or the day after
the decisions we make will affect our tomorrow's, sure, but those decisions matter the most then, and they should always be made wisely.
