Trying to prove herself
To her friends, her family, the world
They knew she was worthy
But she wsa innocent and susceptible

He was a monster
Emotionless and cruel
He wanted one thing
No matter how he got it
His thoughts jumbled together
Before he lost it

It started out fine
Then something went wrong
One moment she was a child
The next her innocence gone
The monster within took control
And tore her down completely

Her body infiltrated
Her emotions diminished
She would never be the same again
He walked away
As if it had never happened
And didn't ever think of her again
