Favorite Quote:
Life is a garden. You plant things and hope for the to grow so you can brag about your accomplishments or remain humble. In the end, you still get compliments on your work...

Its, done, were gone
The ride lasted too long,
Im trapped, it seems,
Im just trying to move on.

My choice,
If I choose to go back into the past,
searching for,
those things that now, I can try to make last.

You're hurt, I understand,
And you think I'm just fine?
Your feelings were hurt I know,
but what about mine?

Fun, fun...
all fun and games...
until someone gets hurt,
the only thing left to do; run.

Ready yourself,
for cuts and tears,
this is what happens,
throughout the years.

Never seems to get better,
no smile upon my face,
I run as fast as I can to try to get there first,
but I always get last place.

Leave me alone,
set me down,
let me cry,
let me drown.

Be happy,
your infinite heart,
It slowly broke apart.

We were,
we are not,
It doesn't matter,
what you thought.

I wrote this poem about a recent break up. It was hard, because my feeling had changed, and I fell for my ex's brother, whom I had dated before my ex... What roller coaster, huh?

I can certainly feel the angst in this poem.  It has a very genuine vibe.
