in the past, we would talk on
the phone through out the cold winter.

and make sure i wasn't down.
in the past, you would wish you

that was just in the past.
here in the present,
you hurt me.
left me, didn't want to see me,
and didn't say the 3 words you
used to say.

now, today, it is fall.
it was just spring long ago.
fall time, whoa.
nowadays, you want me back.
you want me more than the girl you
chose over me.
you say that she's too much for you
to handle. i guess that your saying i was better. just maybe though.
but i don't think that we can ever
be together again.
