on a positive note

i want to see below the surface
not just hear the paraphrase
i want to go back to the good ol days
were we lived by the suns rays
we live without delays
and we set ablaze
the predictable cliches
and our favorite song always replays
and we were just lice on a lazy dog day
living in a mid summer daze
and our body never decays
but in more than one ways
the memories never stay

I actually really really like this. You're right about most poems being negative, and I appreciate the optimism in this! :)
