To face reality

When it's somthing you dont want

Worse than your fears

So say's the freezing air

As night covers everything but the moon

Its light gently creeps over the bed

A shiver makes the dust fall

From the ceiling to the floor

The sheild that protects you

from both the cold and the dark

Wrapped tightly around you

But has yet to reach its mark

The nightmares return

from the back of the black

Scared to close your eyes

But even more to keep them open

Noise enhanced to your ear

Soon succumb to sleep

Not yet ready to face the waiting horror

Wake up with a scream

Another night
