Big Brother
You let me tag along with you and your friends
always keeping me close and out of harms way.
I'd look up at you with wide eyes and want to mimick everything you did.
when I'd screw up you'd reassure me I was still as good as they came.
You're real, no act to be something you're not.
And you're kind; with a heart carved from gold.
You have the patience and gentleness of a lamb, and the bravery and bite of a lion.
I write these things not only to thank you for the way you've lived your life, but as a guideline for any man I let enter mine.
