Pale blue water ripples on a calm,
quiet sphere.
Dirty blonde meadows cover close shores,
dancing with intermittent breezes.

Temperatures always in flux,
from frigidly frantic
to balmy bliss.

Overconfidence brews,
mingling with intellect.
Assumed universal uniqueness.

Martian brother is never far away.
Quite different yet surprisingly alike.
Parental sun beats down on both.

conflicting thoughts and beliefs quarrel.

Traveling through space,
often content with just being.
Motivation to do what it right,
clashing with judgment of all other life.
