Deep cuts like a knife to the soul,
No smile just dark brooding,
Overflowing,
Pulled from deep within,
The rains have come while the lighting booms above,
When will it stop,
The white fluff cannot stop this hearts pain,
This storm has been building on the horizon,
The shield that she had built was pieced,

Cold and alone she weeps,
People pass her but don’t stop,
Where is the help,
Is there no Samaritan who will look into her eyes and tell her the pain will go away?

Torn, shredded, rip through and through,
Her heart screams,
Trying to find comfort within its hollowed walls,
Blood running from the pierced wound,

Slowly the blood stops and the storm leaves,
Empty once again,
She stands as a hollow shell,
Stumbling through the crowds,
She continues on the path.
