Monster
This struggle is internal
No one can see it
Only you can feel it
You can feel it eating you alive
Your loosing yourself
When did this start?
How did you get here?
So close to the edge
Why can’t you part from this monster
This monster that has broken you down
Torn you apart inside
You cried and no one listened
You asked but no one helped
So you unmasked yourself and ran
Ran close to the edge
You’ve been exposed
When there closed eyes finally open
They try and catch a glimpse
But it’s too late
Your already gone
Beyond the point of return
