This pile,
of black and pink
scattered all over my desk
is a sign of my struggle
My struggle to amaze people with words of vernacular formed into art
My struggle to force them to think with underlying messages beyond each word i write
My struggle to use SAT vocab words, to make my writing sound mature and complicated
What happened to the sweet simplicity of poetry?
