The Night

I am the night
I cause stars to twinkle
Dark to stoop from its steps outside of heaven
I cause mothers to hold their children close
Fathers to sigh after long days work
I cause peace and quiet, fright and hostility
Women cry for love that is lost and hope that is gone
I cause slumber to climb from its high loft in the sky
Little boys dream and sleep while girls cling to their dolls
I am the night

Pretty good. I feel it was too dramatic, but I've gone through that stage before. It's hard to get out of. XP Good job though[:
