Me, Myself, and You
You want me to be myself,
Then try and change me into something else.
Am I what you want?
Am I everything you need?
This love we one had,
Will it succeed?
My heart is like a time bomb,
You’re about to set off.
Does my kiss turn you on?
Do you live for my touch?
Or is this fighting and words simply too much?
This is really the end,
The loss of my lover, my friend.
And when you’re at home,
And you’re reading this poem,
Think of me.
