Maybe
Maybe I should run away,
Call it quits and move on.
Tell you I can’t take it,
Bend our love and break it.
Yet no matter how hard I try,
I keep coming back for more.
I walk away then fall right back on the steps at your door.
I want to make it, and change it,
Take this love and rearrange it.
But what I can’t see,
Is how this could be.
Defiance, alliance,
How love suppresses reality.
Holding us together, yet tearing us apart,
Keeping me heartbroken, not knowing where to start.
I want you, I need you.
But could it be possible,
That maybe, just maybe,
You need me too?
