I stare at the empty bed
Swallow painfully at the gnawing


silence

My brother


Gone

Gone with drugs


The silent


killers
The murderers of a happy family
Guily of the cutting anxiety of

where my brother is
Is he dead or alive?
Tears flood my memory of him


His face


Laughing


Glowing


Eyes
I stare at the empty bed

The empty sky

Empty world
I stare at the once whole family


Now empty
