I meant what I said and I said what I ment. -Dr. Seuss

I see you float by
Blown off the tree
outside my window
your soft pink color
glittering like diamonds
with morning dew
you land like a feather
on the soft green ground
the gently yellow sun
beams down
creating a sparkling rainbow
then a harsh wind blows
and I see you float away

This is such a lovely story of such a simple thing! The descriptions are very beautiful; I especially love the last three lines. It's a wonderful thing to do: watching the journeys of flowers. I'm glad you wrote it down! Thank you for that.
