My Justice
I feel their presence
It’s a warm essence,
The warmth of their soul
The way they still breathe
And how every heart beat brings back some comfort
I wish I could scream out
But of course there’s no doubt
My stone cold body just lies there
I’m trapped
I was rapped
There’s no way out
I need a savior
From his evil behavior
I want some justice
And I need my peace
For I don’t belong here
I wonder how he sleeps at night
Without much of a fight
How day by day he departs from his daughter
Knowing he took a life away
Has he ever felt pain as my deep as mine
Will they ever catch his lie?
And bring me justice…
