You ask me to be strong
To mask myself in nothingness
In normallness
In sickening
Fake
Plainess

And so I wear blue jeans
With volcom teas
And I never stand out
In the crowds that preech efforlessly
Their messages of uniformity

Oh but how I’ve failed you

I am going to be the one-man revolution
The ominous cloud that threatens your lie filled life

I will not smile when I’m sad
I will not hate that which I like
I will cry publically

And if society…if you
Eat me alive

So be it

I am not the mannequin you make me out to be
