I remember that day,
It was cold and gray,

I heard the news,

Instantly feeling the blues



You died in the night,

You finally lost the fight,

Now all that's left is a memory of you,

I can barely remember the view



I never told you how i felt,

Now my insides are filled with guilt,

I wish I could've said one last time,

I love you, all the time



Now it's been years past,

I still remember the last,

I have the picture,

Of you, the victor
