Sold.
That is the car.
That is the one
That bought my young heart,
Drove it into the sun.
I remember that night
He sat at the wheel,
Eyes shining with light,
And everything real.
That night at the dance
He wore a black suit,
I wore a blue dress.
And right then I knew
That this was the one -
The night I’d remember.
It was so much fun,
But now it’s September,
And he’s not still here.
He’s taken my heart.
And left only tears,
And sold that damn car.
