Jumbled words and broken smiles
Seem to last mile by mile
All is said and done
Can’t go back and change what I said
I am doubtful that it will be ok
How do I know for sure,
If things will ever be the same?
If you will ever remember my name?
If my face means nothing in your eyes?
If my eyes mean nothing in your mind?
If my hand is not meant for yours anymore
Or if I need to find to door
To someone new
But you knew
And said nothing.
