Favorite Quote:
There can be no society without poetry, but society can never be realized as poetry, it is never poetic. Sometimes the two terms seek to break apart. They cannot.
-Octavio Paz

This one goes out to the hopeful that is afloat in a boat shaped of sand.
He dreams.
He speaks.
That girl is just out of reach.
He reaches.
Preparing to leap just as his landing becomes late for something- later, buddy.
Smiles are waning.
He leaps for he is the hopeful.
Now, hope anew, yet destined to land with a thud.
This one goes out to you.

The author's comments:
To my closest friend, the hopeful, who finally got the girl after landing with a "thud," oh, so many times.
