2:30am and I still can not sleep.
As I roll around in this hotel bed.
Listening to music that reminds me of mom and dad.
Silent tears running down.
On the outside, I'm fine.
Inside, I'm dead.
They make me feel as if I've got no soul.
The songs ring true,
In my hopeless ears.
They give me something to sing to them.
Something for them to hear.
Well it's 5:00am and still no sleep.
While I lay in this bed.
With my crushed hopes and dreams.
I sleep.
Inside.
Dead as can be.
I will never again be alive.
Never again be me.
