I used to think that love
Was something only sent from the heavens above
But screwed was i to think
That anyone would ever jump at the brink
To save a damned soul
One who has lost all sense of control
Why have I been so dumb?
Trying to hide all other feeling but happiness numb
Damned was I to feel
To think that something you said was ever real
Damned are those who loose
Who give up on life and move on to boose
Damned are those who care
They give up on what's real and see things that aren't there
Damned was I from the start
An unattached soul, a broken hanging from a string heart
