You are with me

You are with me,
But I can't see you.
It's hard to remember,
What you told me to do.

But I will keep fighting,
The war is not over.
Though no sun is shining,
Through the cloudless sky.

But I will prevail,
With you at my side.
You didn't have to leave
Just so I could survive.

The war in iraq actually inspired me to write this piece of work i imagined someone who lost a brother or friend in the war.
