"If it doesn't come bursting out of you
in spite of everything,
don't do it." - Charles Bukowski, from "So You Want To Be A Writer"

Velvet, sleek,
hideous and red.
My head spins.

I touch you,
velvet, your body,
so tense and violent.

Velvet, stop, please.
you engulf me,
my breath caught.

Velvet, fall to the ground,
collapse in a pile,
use me.

I need you,
velvet, your crushing grip,
your arched back.
