Rain

Trickling down, down
thunder and lightning, boom, crash
into the rivers.

Sparkling in the sun
steady spring rains come and go
then leaves a great glow.

Into the trees
and then out through the river,
making splendid smells.

Spinning in circles
letting the rain touch your face
dancing in the rain.

The author's comments:
Rain is one of my favorite smells and I have always loved dancing in the rain.
