My footprints in the sand are there for everyone to see. My footprints in the ground are for me to see. My footprints in the mud are brown and gray but, my footprints in your heart are there to stay.

This is for my grandpa who died in 2004. I was only 8 and my last words to him were this poem that I wrote.
