Wander slowly alongside the creek,
Listen to its mystifying music,
Shuffle your bare feet in the water,
Splash your ankles as a child would,
Caress your toes in the cool mud,
Travel with your mind to unknown realms,
secretly aboard a magic carpet to get there.
Feel the willow’s leaves tickling your face,
Observe each of their intricate patterns,
Rub them between your forefinger and thumb,
Pluck them gently from their home tree,
Let them fall down, down to begin their journey,
Watch them float serenely downstream,
tiny rafts leading to a hidden fairyland.
