Trapped

A badger,swift and tall,
Rushes its way home,
But is stopped right in its tracks,
By a trap, thick and strong,
With sturdy metalwork,
And a hard wooden door.
The badger's efforts of escape, Determined yet futile,
The trap is much more stronger,
And now, time passes by,
While the badger sits and waits,
Looking for a way out.
