mary Ann
I am lost.
My feet take me places I seem to have been many times before
A routine where my feet take their natural course
Yet there is an understanding within me that I am lost
"Mary Ann!" They call while looking at me.
Who is this Mary Ann, and why are they looking at me?
Whom ever it is they to must be lost
At lest I know I'm not alone in the mindset that comes when one becomes lost
And although I wish to run and hide
I'll cling to that thought and keep up with the pace of this distant stride
