Blackened Love
A vibrant red heart
Once formed into a black abyss
now back to loving again
It seems as though the angels have saved her
Until the pain and sorrow comes back
A smile upon his face
A warm embrace
Kind, loving eyes
A pleading voice begging her to be happy
But how to reply?
A lonely girl
head down,
a single shrug
nothing to say
The love of her life
remaining by her side
the vibrant eyes she adores, looking right back
looking through to her soul
his gentle touch bringing comfort
the black around her heart slowly melting away once more
In this new world in which she lives
she can breath
speak her mind
and love unconditionally
no more traitors
or heart breaks
The love of her life,
the love of his life
together forever
