Dreams
Dreams in the awake
In the consciousness, the aware
Dreams of dreams
Dreams of nightmares, of trepidation
Let them come, I welcome fear
Enthrall me in loneliness and crippling heartache
Immersed into famine or failure or corruption
I welcome hate
Just grant me a dream
A terror
An ease
Let the sandman come around, I have missed him so
I itch for his company
I covet the torment the daylight promises
I crave faultless darkness
Let my disheveled thoughts subside
Then make sure I awake to feel lonely and sad
A dream of dreaming
Falling from the surface as I rise

I thought I wrote…
I begged
To dream…
To dream terrible affairs
And I dreamt of you
I dreamt of you
Didn’t I?
I grasp and it seeps through the holes of morning
Of cognizance
I dreamt of you
I dreamt of a boy
Of a body… a figure.
I dreamt.
I, I dreamt…
Didn’t I?

I wrote this at 1:34 in the morning. It's more plea than poem.

The title was supposed to be "Paperthin" not "Paperthink" the website doesn't let me edit it :(
