All I Ever Wanted
He's small,
and pesky,
and irritating.
Especially when he come into my room.
All the time.
And uses my computer.
And makes paper airplanes,
with my homework,
which don't fly,
and I have to do it all again.
And he yells,
real loud.
And he screams,
and he throws tantrums.
But sometimes,
when he comes home,
from school,
his eyes brighten
as he sees me.
And he smiles a little.
And he flings his arms around me.
And he tells me he loves me.
And I realize:
He is all I ever wanted
