Falling Universe

stars melting in the sky,
sun dripping tears to dry,
night falls, drops down,
shatters, hits the ground,
pieces splash on the floor,
puddled glass spill some more,
watchful steps in between,
sharp edge and cuts bleeding,
spilling over soft skin,
drops down to meet the end
