Letter to Me

You’re gunna be okay,
You’re gunna be alright,
If you can make it through the day,
You can make it through the night,
And when your life is lonely,
All you do is think of me,
And I’ll be there by your side
Even through the raging seas.
I know you say you’re all alone,
It sure feels like that sometimes,
But loneliness is naught but lies
And pain a great disguise.
To hide the truth found in the heart,
And life’s great mysteries,
From yourself,
Lost in the dark,
And who you’re supposed to be.
