Life used to be soeasy
No worries about drama or what the next day holds for you
Just hide and go seek with the kids next door
The little kid you used to be would laugh at you for crying over a guy who broke up with you
She would just run and say say boys have cootes
She wouldn't worry about what to wear or how she looks
If she didn't get the new kids movie she would cry her heart out
Like it was the end of the world
If only life was as simple as not getting a toy
