Looking at you
Vessel of regret
Blood on your hands
Lies on your breath
I guess it’s my thanks
That you'll ever get
You’re the best of them all
That I've ever met
Of what we become
When we live to regret

You’re filled up with hate
And wrapped up so tight
You're eyes always closed
You don't see the light
Your mouth would be shut
And your hair would be grey
If you saw what you do
And heard what you say

It’s a satisfied life
That we'll never get
If we can't learn to live
If we live to regret
If we take what they give
But we haven't learned yet
If we fail to forgive
Ourselves and forget.
