Love and Lose

As I sit here, looking at the stone we made for him, thinking of the time gone by, I have to wonder, why? No more thoughts of an apartment in New York with him by my side, no more telling him things no one else can know, just loss, and a pain that makes me wonder, was it worth it? To love and lose, than to never have loved at all?
