Two Sides to Every Story
I watched you walk out,
I watched you leave,
Abandoning everything you once called your world.
We we're left with nothing,
not even a clue,
yet you fell weakly,
and ran on and on.
I've seen misery
I've seen worlds collapse
I've seen it all.
I remember the days
Where you stood proud and tall.
I sat upon your knee,
and you told me stories of princes and princesses.
You told me to wish upon shooting stars,
And all this time you were the demon.
I was the knight in shining armor.
fearless, strong, brave..
You were supposed to be my hero,
but now,
i think i should be yours.
I am me,
no thanks to you.
