Life is the arduous journey we must all embark upon,
A sadistic reality is the one in which we live,
Many cannot handle such realities,
They seek a place to get away from it all,
Dreaming is an escape from humanity into the maze that is one’s mind,
Anger and hatred burn throughout our world with a never- ending flame,
We view homicide and destruction all around us,
The various forms anger takes,
But where anger exists so does love,
It is what humanity has to fall back on when it has nothing left,
Love shines brightly like a star through the clouds of irritation that envelop it,
In life we all experience love and hatred,
These feelings are the passion that pumps through our veins like a drug we can’t help but be addicted to,
They are the reason for living and the reason others die,
The way in which we wander through our existence is an enigma which each individual must decipher,
However one thing is certain for all,
Life is a journey worth taking.
