So now I realize
That it’s all in my head,
Forever lays disguised,
And love is never dead.
The obstacles I see
Were never truly there.
The darkness crushing me
Does not deserve my care.
Bright hope will stretch far on
And complications die
When I look at life as dawn
Past night which slips quick by.
True love will always stay
As I will keep it close –
My living star of day
Outshines imagined ghosts.
Though something that is heard
By eyes, by heart, by face,
Goodbye is just a word
And distance is just space.
Forever is real.

I must agree with the individual, titled 'Crispy;' this poem is full of meaning and truth. I very much enjoyed reading it. I admit, the rhythm was so good that I read it the first time through without considering the meaning. :)

I love this poem especially the ending where it said "Goodbye is just a word and distance is just space, but forever is real." Those words are meaningful and true.
