"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." - Howard Thurman

The gossip
The names
My anger
Your hate
The hurt
The sting
In the words I bring
The lies
The talk
Between you and the people you stalk
The figurative bruises
The imaginative cuts
That we've indirectly exchanged
Yet in the end
All I wanted
Was just to pretend
This never happened
But then again
What did happen?
That made us not friends.

The author's comments:
The reason behind this poem was because an ex-friend of mine and I are currently in an argument and so this is my way of letting it out.
