Hey With a Smiley Face

Sitting here, bored and all alone,
thinking how will I ever find love,
that I will never experience the firsts.
And then my phone lights up with that very special ringtone
Never have I smiled so wide before.
And even thought its just a hey with a smiley face,
It absolutley makes my day.
You probably do not even know all the things I want to tell you,
Like how I am flattered by your most simple words
I guess I will just thank you in my thoughts

I originally wrote this about a boy who texts me sometimes. I hope readers can relate to this, whether they think about someone special or just a friend.
