Emotions I can't seem to feel
Memories I cannot quite grasp
Is this what aging feels like?
Growing wiser takes much time
But with passing of time
Degradation of the body comes also
Growing up happens so very quickly
I can't stop one second
Can't freeze one shining beautiful moment
Simply to look at it, analyze it
Appreciate it
I have the memory
But it too will soon fade
Like the stars of the evening sky.
