Is it Yours to Take?

My love,
I cannot give my heart to you
It's not yours to take
You can't comprehend
Why I keep myself
not giving in
you see...
I won't scatter myself
to every boy I date
you say your the one
But hon, I'm uncertain
I won't compromise
My beliefs
and lose myself
to emotion
Am I too prude?
Maybe.
But is my heart pure
surely
did I prove strong
I'll soon find out
