little bird

there was a little bird sitting on the sill
i wondered why it never flew away like it had no will
the little bird would flap its wings but never took the leap just like our hearts are scared so deep
we can sit and wonder whats out there
but if we never fly we will never get there
one day the bird flew away and withit my heart was gone i finally let it go to were it belongs
that little taught to never be afraid for life is a journey made to be made
