Don’t Pretend

By , Ontario, CA
Don’t pretend that nothing happen
Don’t pretend it didn’t mean anything
You know and I know
What happen that night?
Felt so right, everything fell into place

The birds were singing,
The sun was shining bright
Beneath us, the dark clouds
That surrounded us disappear
Those kiss brought life back into our soul
erasing the pain that had taken its toll?

I can’t stop you from thinking that it was a mistake
I can’t stop you from regretting what you did
If it makes you feel better, I don’t regret what I did
Because it was destined to be
The only thing I’m going to request from you
Is for you to always remember me

I love this poem it means alot to me.. i have been there and have been told that someone regrets me. but its okay and i realize that now. Just because something is right for you doesn't mean it is for everybody.
