No matter how much I see you, I miss you
It's not that you feel different
When your heart presses against mine
But let's be honest, you do
No Muscle
A weakling, sickling, incompetent infant
Looking for the maternal approval
The only way you know how
Regulating what goes in
Making sure it's all burned off
Until you are simply structural
Only Bone
It's beyond the physical though
Your touch is no longer settling, soothing, grounding
Instead hollow
Blank white
Breakable
Segmented & Fragile
Just the bare bones of it
Which just doesn't lend the support I need
How do I make you strong again?
I need you to be the muscles, organs, nerves-complete.
Whole enough to share with and give to me.
